Clérigos Tower history

The Clérigos tower was inaugurated in 1763, in an architectural style inspired by the Baroque. 225 steps, 75 meters high with a 360 degree view.

Porto Cathedral history

The Porto Cathedral still preserves traces of the primitive Romanesque building built between the 1st half of the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th century. The aspect of a church-fortress stands out, with two towers and the beautiful rose window on the main façade. It underwent modifications in the Mannerist and Baroque periods. The Gothic cloister dates back to Dom João I, the king who celebrated his wedding in this cathedral.
