    North Station: Passeio das Tagides. 1990-280 Lisbon (next to the old Vasco da Gama tower, now the Myriad hotel).
    South Station: Passeio de Neptuno. 1990-280 Lisbon (next to the Oceanarium).

History of Lisbon Cable Car

The Parque das Nações Cable Car or Telecabine was inaugurated in March 1998 for the Lisbon International Exhibition (EXPO 98).
It has 40 cabins with capacity for 8 passengers. The route next to the Tagus River, just a few meters from the riverfront. The South terminal is on Passeio de Neptuno, close to the Oceanarium and the North terminal is located on Passeio das Tágides, close to the old Torre Vasco da Gama, now the Hotel Myriad.
The journey, lasting 8 to 12 minutes, covers a beautiful and restful route of 1,230 meters, over the Tagus River, from where you can see a panorama of Parque das Nações at a height of 30 meters.
We can see up close the Oceanarium, Doca dos Olivais, the Portuguese Pavilion and its roof, the Atlantic Pavilion, the FIL Pavilion and in the distance the entire Parque das Nações, Oriente station, the São Gabriel and São Rafael towers, the Vasco da Gama Tower and also the Vasco da Gama bridge.

History of Lisbon Oceanarium

Opened in 1998 at the 1998 World Exhibition, the theme was “The oceans, a heritage for the future”, the Oceanário immortalized Lisbon’s connection with the oceans.
The Oceanário collaborates with several institutions on scientific research projects, conservation of marine biodiversity and which promote the sustainable development of the oceans.

History of Lisbon Zoo

Opened in 1884 in the Parque de São Sebastião da Pedreira, the Lisbon Zoo was the first park with animals and plants in the Iberian Peninsula.
The park later moved to Quinta das Laranjeiras.
The Veterinary Hospital was opened in 2008. Contact with dolphins during the ATL.
With 2,000 animals, 300 species, including mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians.
